Blk Mrkt Inc. announces the release of the 2008 frames, components and complete bikes. New dropouts, colors and graphics for the Mob and Riot frames as well as the rollout of the Three57 complete bike.
Santa Ana, California - Black Market (Blk Mrkt), is proud to announce the release of the .357, the companies’ first complete bike offering. The .357 bicycle is built upon the geometry of the now infamous MOB frame and is available at authorized Blk Mrkt dealers around the world. As well as the .357 complete bikes, Blk Mrkt is also proud to announce the release of the 2008 MOB frame, made in Santa Ana, California, at the famed S&M Bikes factory. The MOB frame is constructed of True Temper Super Therm butted-steel tubing and is available in stock and custom colors. A custom top tube length is also available at an additional charge.

Dropouts are different!

dude kikass bikes arent cars. What are you gonna change about a simple hardtail. theres more to bikes than looks.
Those are some pritty sick looking frames and there weight isn't to bad either. I would like to get one but don't have the money right now. I spent it all on Christmas gifts.
nice, my buddy has a white riot and its pretty solid, i love the new dropouts.
and, Pesling is right... the 2008 will have the riot dropouts with the cutouts in them and a vbrake option, unlike the white one in the picture...

whats the difference between the mob and riot (they both have the same geomentry) i know the mob is availible in verticle dropouts.
the mob is slightly lighter. i guess the treatment of the weldings is different or something. the price difference is because the mob is American made (by s&m bikes)and the riot is made overseas
ty3 they are both made by s&m... the only reason the riot is is the metals are slightly different, which causes it to be lighter. and the fact that u can get the mobs with vertical or horizontal drop outs.
ah ok. my bad, i thought the riot was an s&m frame but made overseas, i guess i read it somewhere. but thanks for the heads up.

I know guys that have riot's and mob's, there the exact same frame but the riot is made in china with cheap infearior chinese metal there still amazing frames, their easy to manual and throw around. Black market has impressed me for the last 4 years im positive that my next hard tail will be a Black Market, maybe even a .357, Ive riden one and quite like it there are parts i would change and they have a bag price tag just because of the brand but still a solid bike for your buck.

I have both the mob and the riot... they ARE perfect... and the riot is a noticeable amount heavier, but light.
